Migration Stories Part 2
America is a very diverse country. Different languages, cultures, and religions. Both of my parents were born in Pennsylvania. My mother was born in Washington, Pennsylvania. My father was born in Coatesville, Pennsylvania. No one really remember's on my father's side where everyone came from. My Grandmother on my Mother's side was born in Alabama on a plantation but to be prevented from going through slavery she was shipped up to Pennsylvania when she was 2. My great Grandmother (Lade Bell) was born in Alabama she was a slave on a plantation but because of her beauty she did not have to go through slavery because the Plantation owner married her and they produced numerous children. My great great grandmother on my mother's side was born in Haiti we don't know where she was from, but we do know that she was came to America in the early 1800's because of stories about slavery in the U.S. so she lived with the Creek Indians in Alabama and married one of them. The name of the creek Indian is vague to her.
